Caron G Rand is a Los Angeles based painter whose work explores the tension between the opposing forces of light and darkness, chaos and balance, survival and transformation. Drawing from personal experience, science, spirituality, and the natural world, her paintings often use deep ebony surfaces, mirrored compositions, and symbolic imagery to examine the hidden energies that shape human life. Through layered, meditative processes and recurring motifs of duality, Rand creates works that reflect resilience, psychological depth, and the search for meaning within a complex and often contradictory universe.
